The CP 1000 is our top highend and largest roller compactor with a throughput of up to 400kg/h. In not a few cases, the maximum throughput and quality of the granules of the plant depends on the granulating unit

Precise & powerful

That’s why our top models are equipped with a large diameter granulator rotor of 250mm and with a screen wrap angle of 165° is that very efficient.

In order to guarantee a high quality of the finished product (dry granulate), the quality of the pressed strip is also decisive. A constant pressure of the rollers as well as a variable roller gap which is controlled precisely by a hydraulic system guarantees the constant density of the pressed strip.

All FAYTEC roller compactors feed the rollers with two efficient metering screw which are arranged horizontally and vertically. In order to avoid powder jamming when feeding the product, the metering screw of our roller compactor always have the same size and can therefore run at the same rotation speed. This feeding concept coupled with a sophisticated air deaeration guarantees a constant powder feed to the press rolls without air inclusions. With our patented high performance four feeding screw desing only provide by FAYTEC AG. This feature in the CP 1000 allow the machine to handle more low desinty pharma powder than normal roller compactor.

1: Inlet hopper

The Powder mixture is fed into the roller compactor via inlet hopper. The rotating lump breaker in the hopper is responsible for a contant powder flow.

3: Double vertical metering screw

Press roller fedding with vertical metering screw, is feeding with gravity. Similar powder feeding conditions for left and right press roller. This design guarantees an optimal comnpaction process.

4: Precise press force control

The hydraulic press force is working with expansion reservoir. This technology is responsible for the quick and precise roller gap and force control.

5: Granulation

Thea large diameter granulator rotor of 250mm is working for a high through outputh. The long  screen wrap angle of over 160° around the rotor is designed for the efficient granulation process.

2: Double metering screw

Efficent powder feeding by low desinty by using two metering screws. No rotation calculation nessesary from horizontal to the vertical metering screw. This is very important to avoid powder jam by step feeding.
